2017 Holiday Gift Giving Guide

Can you believe that Christmas is only 25 days away?? It sure doesn't feel like it, especially since we still don't have snow here in northern Minnesota!

The fun part about JDD jewelry is that you can put together something meaningful and custom for just about anyone. We love to mix and match charms to create one of a kind necklaces, but if that's overwhelming we have put together some cute combinations for you! You can find our new Storytellers here - just add a chain and you've got yourself a great gift! {The rings on our storytellers are large enough that they usually work with chains you already have, but if you need chain options you can find them here.} We also have necklace combinations here - all the work is done for you!

Still not sure what to get your loved ones? I've put together a little gift guide with my personal favorites and ideas that would fit everyone from your hard-to-buy-for sister to your world-traveling best friend. It's all handmade in our Minnesota studio, and who doesn't love a gift with meaning?

Best Friend: We have a whole section devoted to Friends on our website. My personal favorite? This Thelma and Louise storyteller.

Mom: I love this family mixed metal necklace. You could even add additional tiny hearts with every child's initial!

Book Lover: I read ALL THE TIME. The Just One More Chapter Storyteller idea came one day when I realized I say that a lot! And who doesn't love Books AND Coffee? {I'm sure there is someone out there...but that little coffee charm is just so darn cute!}

Traveler: I just got back from Italy and am obsessed with the idea of maxing out my passport {totally not possible but wouldn't it be fun to have it full?} Here's a few of my favorites:

Faith: I love the verse from James 1:2 to "count it all joy". This is one of my go-to gifts this year from my friends of faith, especially those that have struggled with something big lately. You can find it here.

I also love this one

For the woman fighting hard battles: One of the stories that has resonated the most with me over the years I have been making jewelry came from a woman who wore one of my soldered charms to chemotherapy. It was my Expect Miracles charm. We all go through hard things. One of the best parts of my job is that what I do can lift others up.

Believe In Miracles and Strong Women are also a great gifts.

Sister: The back side of this Sister Storyteller always makes me laugh!

Teacher: It's always hard finding something for teachers! I've given this charm quite a few times...even if she doesn't wear jewelry she can always use it on her keychain! The tiny book charm is adorable too!

Hopefully this gives you some ideas for your loved ones. I love helping my customers put together custom combinations to tell their stories. If you need help, feel free to message me for ideas and I'll put some together for you!

Our storytellers are all on this ring.

If you'd like to have your own combination put on a large ring, purchase the ring and leave me a message in the comments at checkout which charms you would like put on and I'll gladly do it!

Happy Holidays, friends!
